THE CAMEL BASICS
A golf game that can be played with 2-5 players. Keep track of every BUNKER hit. Determine a DOLLAR VALUE for each BUNKER. The player who last hits into a BUNKER is designated THE CAMEL. When the round is complete, multiply the DOLLAR VALUE by number of BUNKERS hit to determine the POT. THE CAMEL owes each player the amount in the POT.
UP & DOWN
If THE CAMEL gets up & down from a BUNKER on holes 16, 17 or 18, then the player passes THE CAMEL back to the player who was THE CAMEL immediately prior to them (this cannot be the same person unless no other player has been in a BUNKER during the round).
HOLE OUT
If THE CAMEL holes out from a bunker on holes 16, 17 or 18, the BUNKER total doubles and the player passes THE CAMEL back to the player who was THE CAMEL immediately prior to them (this cannot be the same person unless no other player has been in a BUNKER during the round). If THE CAMEL holes out at any point during the round and there has been no other player in a BUNKER, the BUNKER total is cleared to zero. This is known as "The Stingley".
BUNKER PLAY
Once THE CAMEL reaches the putting surface, they no longer can intentionally play into a BUNKER.
OPTIONAL RULE MODIFICATIONS
“The Sakata”
If THE CAMEL makes a BIRDIE on 18, BUNKER total is reduced by half.
“Dirty CAMEL”
If THE CAMEL makes a gross BIRDIE at any point prior to holes 16, 17 & 18, they can pass THE CAMEL to whomever they choose.

“The Woolsey”
If you complain about the rules during the round, you automatically become THE CAMEL.
“THE ATKINSON”
If you are 6' 6 3/8" or taller, you are not allowed to play.
